Abby Cornelius
Kindness Takes More than SevenDays®
“In 2014, three individuals were senselessly murdered outside of Jewish facilities by a white supremacist. After killing Reat Underwood, William Corporon and Terri LaManno, the gunman was arrested in a quiet neighborhood surrounding an elementary school and a high school. As a librarian at that high school, many of my students were at the facilities and were deeply impacted by the events of that day. This tragic act brought about the Faith Always Wins Foundation to promote dialogue for the betterment of our world through kindness, faith and healing. A monthly donation to the Faith Always Wins Foundation impacts multiple generations to continue making an impact in Kansas City. As the SevenDays® Kindness Art Show chair, I have met many amazing people working to bring kindness to our community. It means so much to me to work with an organization that strives to spread kindness to everyone in every way.”
